  For years, people have been bombarded with advertisements. It is criticized by some people, but praised by others.

  Many people find advertising a great help for the economy. This is partly because advertising, as a marketing tool, increases the value of products and directly convinces prospective buyers to purchase by showing positive images of products like diverse appearances, excellent qualities, and competitive prices. Usually, the more valuable and complete information it tells, the more additional products and services individuals and businesses purchase, and thus, the more dynamic economy would be. By encouraging more buying, advertising also indirectly drives yield improvements and productivity enhancements, which would facilitate job growth eventually. The growth, without doubt, is another motivator of economic growth.

  Those who are averse to advertising might complain that audience would no longer be satisfied with their status quo. Those advertising luxury cars, fineries, and jewelry can be examples of this. Once advertisements have ruined their self-esteem, it is time to encourage consumption, of goods they do not need, and in the long run, materialism may be rampant.
